Today in Animation, I used nonlinear deformers to make a simple animation using the Mini-Man I previously made. First, I used a lattice on the model to deform it and keyframed the y-axis movement of the model in order to make it move through the lattice. Then, I used the squash deformer to make it squash and stretch. After this, I used the twist and sine deformers and made it twist while being in the shape of a wave. I keyframed all of these except for the lattice, and they all turned out well without any issues. I did two playblasts, one of which had the manipulators visible and one with them hidden. I enjoyed doing this, and would definitely do this again if given the opportunity.
